  • Depart from school by coach
  • Ferry crossing

  • Visit the Hôtel de Ville, once the headquarters of Robespierre.
  • At the Conciergerie, students will witness the stark reality of the Revolution’s Reign of Terror. This former palace-turned-prison held thousands, including Marie Antoinette, in their final days. The prisoners’ last messages, scratched into the cell walls, are a haunting reminder of their fate.

  • Visit the Palais Royal where Desmoulins made the speech which led to the storming of the Bastille

  • Evening meal

Day 4

  • End the trip at the Palace of Versailles, a symbol of royal extravagance that fuelled the people’s growing resentment.
